2.1.1 Descriptive / Qualitative Adjectives
Descriptive / qualitative adjectives convey the shape, colour, size, etc of nouns.
· The thick book belongs to Harry.
· The yellow ribbon is used to decorate the gift box.
2.1.2 Quantitative Adjectives
Quantitative Adjectives convey the amount or number.
· She has many kittens at her house.
· The teacher has given too much homework to the students.
2.1.3 Distributive Adjectives
Distributive adjectives indicate whether the person or things classified by the nouns are taken singly or a group.
· Every month, my mother will bank in RM 500 to my account.

Demonstrative adjectives single out the nouns that they are used with.
